I don't know why but I love the look & contrast of the Classic Cuts from this 2002 Fleer set. I have been sort of tooling around with the idea of building a HOF collection with either game used or autos of Hall of Famers. My pocketbook won't allow me to get the biggies but it will sure be fun trying...

A New Blog

Welcome to Baseball Card Nirvana! This is my first attempt at a blog and I decided what better thing to blog on than my favorite hobby. My goal is to hopefully make this a blog focused on group box breaks!

I would love to be able to get enough particapants to keep each person's cost down but still enable them to walk away with something to make the money invested worthwhile....and to have some fun as well!!

I am sure this will be slow to develop as it will take some time to build up enough of a readership to enable us to get enough participants. If you are interested in participating in future group breaks please chime in and let me know. The other issue would be trust in me to hold an honest box break. I have not done any online trading but I have purchased and sold cards on Ebay (Cubbyblue34) and my rating is 100%. I can assure you this legit.

My plan would be similar to some other group breaks I have seen held. I am not looking to make a profit....just enough to cover the cost of the box & shipping of the cards to the participants. Cost of the box divided by total participants plus a small amount for shipping should cover it.

Each participant would pick a team with all cards depicting that team going to that person. All unclaimed teams would be issued to participants based on a preset randomized order.
